Senior Chimes practice every Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. in the FLC, unless otherwise posted.

Choir practice is every Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m., unless otherwise posted. Sunday nights at 7:00 too during for the Christmas Cantata practice!

Scouts:
    Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts meet every Monday night at 7:00 p.m., unless otherwise posted.

AWANA:
    At 5:30 p.m. on Sundays, the Sparks (age 5 - 2nd grade) and the Truth & Training (3rd-6th grades) meet in the church basement area. On Wednesdays, the Trek (7th & 8th grades) and Journey (9th -12th grades) will meet from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the youth room. If you have any questions, please see Tina Steppe or Connie McDermid.

• WMU & GGBA Food Assignments:
    Thank you for helping support the Baptist Sharing Ministries!
Food items are: Pancake mix, syrup, oatmeal, pork & beans, canned food.

• Health News:
Blood Pressure Screening will begin at 9:15 a.m. on Sundays in the basement area - Health Room.

CPR & First Aid: A 3-hour course offered at the church in January or February through the American Heart Association. The certification is for 2 years, cost is $25.00 per person. Please contact Brenda Beam or Kathy Bumgardner by December 31 if interested.

• Quarterly Church Conference:
The Quarterly Church Conference will be held on Sunday, January 4 at 6:00 p.m.

• WMU:
The WMU will meet in the parlor on Wednesday, January 7 at 7:00 p.m.

• Young at Heart:
The Young at Heart will meet on Thursday, January 8 at 11:00 a.m. in the FLC.

• Children After Church:
The Children will meet at Pastor Tim & Gina’s home for fellowship, games & snacks at 7:15 p.m. on Sunday, January 11.

• Youth Snow Tubing Trip
We will leave the church at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, January 23, and will return around noon on Saturday, January 24. Reservations must be made by January 9.   If you would like to go, please sign the form in the hard-copy bulletin, and place in the offering plate, or call Lorna Ross.

• Couples--24 Hour Get-Away!

    Personalized, one-on-one assistance in getting to, viewing, and navigating the Shady Grove website, from your own computer, is now available! Please see or call the following people to schedule an appointment: Christopher Schultz, or Tina Steppe.

• Basket Ministry:
    The Basket Ministry is requesting that whenever you know of a new family moving into the Shady Grove Baptist Church
community that you call the Church Secretary and give her their names and addresses. This information will help the
Basket Ministry to reach more people in our area.
